Dog treadmills in the UAE: daily exercise without the heat
From May to October, midday temperatures in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Sharjah make long outdoor walks unsafe for most dogs. A FITD dog treadmill moves that exercise indoors, into an air-conditioned room, every day of the year.
FITD treadmills are fully mechanical. Your dog powers the belt with its own movement, so there is no motor, no electricity and no noise. The belt follows your dog's natural pace, and the rubber slat surface cushions every step to protect paws and joints.
Why UAE dog owners and K9 units choose FITD
- Exercise all year: indoors in air-conditioning, even in July and August.
- No electricity needed: place it in an apartment, villa, clinic or kennel without a power socket.
- Low-impact: the rubber slat belt absorbs impact and gives natural grip.
- Self-paced: the dog sets the speed, so movement stays comfortable and safe.
- Healthy weight and calmer behaviour: regular sessions burn energy that otherwise turns into chewing and barking.
- Measurable progress: the digital speedometer shows speed, time and pace for every session.
- Delivered across the UAE: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah.

Frequently asked questions
Does a FITD dog treadmill need electricity?
No. FITD treadmills are fully mechanical and powered by the dog's own movement. There is no motor, cable or power socket, so they are silent and can go anywhere indoors.
Which size is right for a German Shepherd or Malinois?
The Large Pro (190 × 56 × 140 cm) is built for large and working breeds such as German Shepherds, Malinois and Rottweilers. Labradors and Huskies suit the Standard; small and medium breeds suit the Compact.
How much does a dog treadmill cost in the UAE?
FITD self-powered dog treadmills cost AED 4,497 (Compact), AED 5,497 (Standard) and AED 6,497 (Large Pro), delivered across the UAE. Imported professional slatmills often cost AED 10,000 or more before shipping and duty.
Is treadmill exercise safe in the UAE summer?
Indoor sessions in an air-conditioned room let your dog exercise without outdoor heat. Start with short sessions, keep fresh water nearby and build up gradually. For puppies, senior dogs or dogs with health conditions, ask your vet first.
Do you deliver dog treadmills across the UAE?
Yes. FITD is based in Dubai and delivers to all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm Al Quwain, Ras Al Khaimah and Fujairah. Message us on WhatsApp for delivery time to your area.
Can vets use FITD treadmills for rehabilitation?
Yes. The self-powered rubber belt gives low-impact, controlled movement, and the speedometer and incline make sessions repeatable. Session length and pace for recovery should always follow the treating vet's plan.
